Post-Katrina Life

Life since the disaster has become almost unbearable. The combination of low-pay and high rent is making it nearly impossible to support my family. Our car is broken and now I don't have a way to get to work or even enough change to take the bus... phone is cut off...gone several days without a substantial meal...my home was destroyed and there doesn't seem to be much hope of returning to it. Two years later and nothing seems to have improved.
